Travelling as a manual wheelchair user and paraplegic woman is by no means straightforward but, after nearly two decades of trial and error, visiting some of the most extraordinary places imaginable for both work and pleasure, I want to share the places I have been to that I now know will guarantee access, inclusion and, the holy grail as far as I am concerned, equality of experience to disabled travellers.
